Energy stands as one of the strengths, drivers, and employers of West Virginia's economy. Our state is taking a lead in meeting the country's energy needs through traditional resources and advanced technology, and we are just in the beginning phases. The WV Energy Expo focuses on three aspects of the growing demand:

Growing

The WV Energy Expo is a one-day business event tailored towards the growth and opportunity of the energy industry in West Virginia. The event provides information, resources and networking needed for growing our state's energy industry, and the businesses that support it.

Developing

As one of the top energy producing states in the nation, West Virginia is quickly developing its available resources to benefit the growing demand for energy. Co-hosted by the West Virginia Economic Development Council, the event provides insight and information on the continued development of the state and its growing opportunities.

Employing

One of the biggest challenges we face in West Virginia is the demand for an increased workforce. This year, with the efforts of the WV Department of Commerce, the WV Energy Expo will be adding a focus on workforce by adding a hiring aspect to the event. Sponsors and exhibitors are encouraged to bring their HR team to take advantage of the attendeeds looking for available positions.

Hosted by the WV Department of Commerce, WV Economic Development Council and The Stick Company, the WV Energy Expo is a one-day business event, anchored by the state's largest energy-focused tradeshow showcasing regional products, services and technologies.

This year, the Expo welcomes exhibitors looking to grow their workforce, as we promote and highlight these opportunities to our attendees, continuing to provide value to our exhibitors, attendees and sponsors. The Energy expo is a business-driven tradeshow featuring our local businesses and all the services we provide in our state across all energy platforms helping educate each other on the business opportunities within each sector.
